Welcome to Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey HealthBeverly Hospital is a full service, community hospital providing leading-edge, patient-centered care to North Shore and Cape Ann residentsComplete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are workingThe average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency programPreceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientationThe clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyondJ2 is a 30-bed adult surgical unit affiliated with New England BaptistWe care for patients ranging from 18 years of age to geriatrics.
The majority of admissions to J2 are from the postoperative anesthesia care unit (PACU), followed by admissions from the emergency department who have an orthopedic, surgical or gastrointestinal diagnosis
Qualifications:
BSN preferred o Must have completed all clinical rotations and be eligible to take the nurse registration o American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate FLSA Status:
