The 3000's cast-iron straight-six featured a redesigned cylinder block with modified coolant passages Other alterations included stiffened crankcase webbing, a crankshaft damper and a gear-type oil pump.
This 1960 Austin Healey 3000 Four-seater is matching numbers car as shown by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust.
The White Ivory body is in very good condition with minor imperfections shown in attached photos.
The Black leather interior with red trim is in very good condition as well.
The interior also includes new black carpeting and instrument knobs and controls.
Over $10,000 in documented work has been performed by a professional British car mechanic over the past year.
Some of the mechanical refresh includes, a new wiring harness, new front and rear brakes, clutch, rebuilding the SU carburetors along with many miscellaneous improvements.
The undercarriage is in very good condition with no corrosion.
The frame is solid and also painted in Ivory White.
The new fuel and brake lines as well as mounting bushings show the recent work performed.
