Vehicle Description 1959 saw the most radical engineering and styling changes for Chevrolet and GMC light-duty pickups since General Motors-branded trucks were introduced to the public early in the 20th century.
The 1960 model year brought the arrival of the Chevy C10 series trucks, succeeding the 1955-59 Chevy Task Force series trucks.
With the introduction of 1960s styling, Chevy C10 trucks were the first Chevy and GMC pickups equipped with independent front suspension as well as numerous other upgrades.
These General Motors trucks were considered the first generation which was produced from 1960 to 1966.
This 1966 Chevrolet C10 with a chopped roof and suicide doors has been transformed into a full custom pickup that resembles what the General Motors designers originally sketched on their drafting boards, but even better! Along with the exterior modification this truck now features a Corvette interior with bucket seats and center console, Autometer gauge package and B&M floor shifter.
Performance is provided by a ground pounding 454 cubic inch fuel injected motor.
